Of the 100 major cities ranked in the study, Scottsdale had the highest overall rank. It ranked fourth for the “sports facilities & outdoor environment” ranking, and 11th on WalletHub’s “budget & participation” ranking.
Tucson came in seventh overall, followed by Mesa at 33, Glendale at 41, and Chandler at 42. Meanwhile, Phoenix and Gilbert didn’t do so well. Phoenix was No. 70 and Gilbert was at 72, according to the study.
