My boyfriend and I started looking for a house to buy in early December of last year. Right…at the height of the buying frenzy. Crazy! Multiple offers, all-cash buyers snapping up homes soon after they came on the market, etc. This hardly left any time at all for a normal buyer to look at the listings and make a balanced decision. Complicating our situation was the fact that we are out-of-state buyers with only a 2-month timeline (no, not investors, but for family). Aspen did not disappoint. Soon after he got an idea of what we were looking for in our potential purchase, he immediately set us up with a FlexMLS subscription. This allowed us to search for ourselves those listings meeting our criteria before they went on the market. And since we could not easily make the trip to AZ each time, Aspen took numerous video tours of the houses we liked and made sure to write up an offer straight away on those we wanted to buy. When it came to making offers, Aspen provided us with helpful insights to our offer strategy and kept us always updated so we know whether or not we were in the running (early morning/late evening texts were welcomed). He generally took the time to communicate with us every step of the way so we knew somebody was looking after our best interests.Most valuable to us was his resource of local experts to help during the entire experience. Mortgage brokers, home inspectors, contractors, cleaners, etc were faster to get with his referrals. This was one less hassle we gladly did not have to deal with.
